Kitchen Garden · Pink French breakfast radishes with leafy tops on buttermilk
Neat rows of radishes, pulled at dawn
Radishes are the first reward of a spring vegetable bed, crisp and peppery and impossibly pink. This set has the tidy charm of a well-kept allotment. It brightens a breakfast table and makes a lovely hostess gift for a keen gardener.
On the mat
French breakfast radishes, raspberry pink fading to white at the tips, line up with their frilly green tops in a block-print style. The slightly irregular edges give each one a hand-stamped feel on a soft buttermilk ground.
Set it with: Butter on a small dish, sea salt and a blue enamel jug.
